The mission of this Web site is to provide people from the West
with Chinese dragon art and information. The dragon is a very
important symbol in China, even today many Chinese people consider
themselves to be "descendants of the dragon." Chinese dragons are
not the evil and violent creatures they are portrayed to be in
Western cultures, Chinese dragons are considered wise, beautiful and
